Birch Hill Recreation Area:

30K of cross-country trails. Some of them are  Outhouse, Blue and Black loops.

Birch Hill Ski & Snowboard Area:

Downhill skiing and snowboarding.

Broad Pass/Cantwell:

Snowmachining south of Cantwell. Call Igloo City Resort 768-2622 or Reindeer Mountain Lodge 768-2420.

Chatanika: Trails:

Call Chatanika Lodge 389-2164 or Sno-RV Inc. 389-7669

Chena Lakes:

Sled dog trails and ski trails at the lake river park.

Chena River State Recreation Area:

Winter trail from Two Rivers to Angel Creek Lodge and Chena Hot Springs Resort. Trail around Four Mile Ridge to Stiles Creek cabin, trail to Colorado Creek cabin. Call Angel Creek Lodge 369-4128.

Denali Highway:

Snowmachine trails. Call Backwoods Lodge in Cantwell at 768-2232, Maclaren River Lodge 822-7105 or Paxson Lodge 822-3330.

Denali Park/Healy:

Call Earthsong Lodge 683-2863 for Stampede Trail conditions

Call Denali Park Kennels 683-9586 for conditions in the park.

Rex Trail:

Call Cold King Creek Lodge 322-3614 for conditions on the Rex Trail from Rochester's Lodge to Gold King Creek Lodge (50 miles)

Jeff Studdert Racegrounds:

Sprint mushing trails.

Moose Mountain:

Mount Aurora Skiland:

Downhill ski resort which advertises itself as the most northerly Ski resort in North America. 28 Trails from Novice to Pro. State-of-the-art Silver Star Express 3800 feet double chair lift. Equipment rentals, instruction and a day lodge with food and hot beverages.

Located at the Summit East of the Steese (20.5 Mile). Turn onto Fairbanks Creek Road and go straight up the hill 5/8 mile. For information, call 456-SNOW, or go to http://www.akpub.com/akttt/skila.html
